Clomiphene Citrate Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Clozaril Dosage

* The usual starting dose is half of a 25-milligram tablet and you should be taken 1 or 2 times daily.
* Safety and efficacy have not been established for children up to 16 years of age.

Side Effects of Clozaril

* Blood disorders
* Constipation
* Drowsiness

*nausea, stomach pain, low fever, lost appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).

Warnings and precautions before taking Clozaril:

* You should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant. If you become pregnant while you are taking clozapine, then you should call your doctor immediately.
* If you are having surgery such as dental surgery, then you should tell the doctor that you are taking clozapine.
* If you are taking prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products, then you should tell your doctor.

* Clozapine may cause low blood pressure or dizzines.
* Tell your doctor if you are allergic to clozapine.
* Clozapine can cause a serious blood condition that is known as agranulocytosis. Your doctor or pharmacist can give you more information on this.
* Clozapine may cause seizures. Tell your doctor if have a history of seizures.

Drug Interaction :-

Let your doctor, nurse of pharmacist know about all the medications that you are taking, either by prescription or over-the-counter, including herbal supplements.

Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medications:

*amantadine
*barbiturates
*bromocriptine (Parlodel)
*carbamazapine (Tegretol)
*cimetidine (Tagamet Tagamet HB)
*erythromycin
*fluconazole (Diflucan)
*cortisone-like drugs (prednisone; hydrocortisone)
*itraconazole (Sporanox)

Overdose

Seek emergency medical attention if you have used too much of this medicine. Symptoms of a clozapine overdose. Symptoms of a Clozaril overdose include:

* Coma
* Delirium
* Excess salivation
* Low blood pressure
* Faintness
* Pneumonia
* Rapid heartbeat
* Seizures
* Absence of breathing
* Confusion
* Fast heart rate
* Drowsiness
* Drooling
* Dfficulty breathing.
